I have been reading and learning a lot from the wonderful book by Richard Rutter, Web Typography, which was published in 2017. In the Show & Tech this morning about Web Typography, I put together some good readability for the text content on websites. The presentation only cover stuff relative to the paragraph’s level style: font-size, measure, and line height. My co-workers learned new things about some of the web type units: px, rem, and em. I think they had some sort of ideas about what unit “em” is, but this is their first time hearing about “rem.” Even I still feel pressure and nervous because of public speaking, I am glad to help them learn new things, as well as to feel helpful.
